The Oklahoma State University Police Department (OSU PD) is dedicated to ensuring
the safety and security of the OSU System, including agricultural research areas,
and Lake Carl Blackwell. Our team provides a wide range of services designed to support
and protect students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Whether you’re locked out of your car or need a jump-start, OSU PD offers on-campus
motorist assistance to help you get back on the road safely and quickly.
Operation ID is a new crime prevention program used to deter theft by marking valuables
with an identifying tag etched with an owner's contact information.
From 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., seven days a week, trained student public service officers
are available to escort anyone from one campus location to another through our SafeWalk
program, ensuring safe travel after dark.
The OSU Police Department offers safety-focused training programs designed to equip
the university community with the knowledge and skills needed to prevent, respond
to, and remain safe during critical situations.
To help protect valuable personal items, OSU PD provides a personal asset inventory
service where students, faculty, and staff can securely record information about their
valuables.
OSU PD publishes a detailed crime log that fulfills both Clery Act and State of Oklahoma
reporting requirements, providing transparency and keeping the community informed.
